About AMR

AMR International is a management consultancy providing strategic advice to hundreds of financial investors and corporations. AMR has its headquarters in London, and additional offices in Frankfurt and New York. AMR works in a wide range of industries with media and publishing, and aerospace and defence its specialisations. AMR’s work encompasses strategy reviews, commercial due diligence (CDD), benchmarking and performance improvement projects. AMR has also assisted numerous private equity investors in evaluating management buy-outs and other investments.

AMR has an intimate understanding of the European telephone directory, radio and defence support services markets as a result of a range of assignments supporting major European transactions. In the radio sector, this includes the sale of the Dutch Radio 538 by Advent International. In the telephone directory sector, these have included the €1.825bn buyout of the Yellow Brick Road Group, now European Directories S.A (EDSA) from 3i and Veronis Suhler Stevenson by the consortium led by Macquarie Capital Alliance Group, comprising Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Nikko Principal Investments Limited in July 2005, and EDSA’s subsequent bolt-on acquisition of TDC Forlag A/S, the Danish directory incumbent.

These assignments have enabled AMR to develop specific tools to analyse and benchmark both radio broadcasting groups and directory publishers and their markets.

AMR’s transaction support experience comprises over 800 deals valued up to €2bn and its on-the-ground experience extends to over 40 countries.
